Umbrella man

During March and April, Córdoba hosts one of the most important international poetry festivals: "Cosmopoética. Poets of the world in Cordoba".
Cosmopoética is an event which makes Córdoba become poetry and culture by involving the public in it and bringing thus poetry to all the city districts and social groups. This festival is famous for the exchange of cultures and the chance for budding local poets to rub shoulders with well-established internationally-renowned poets.
Cosmopoética also includes music, theatre, cinema, photography, exhibitions, etc.
The man with the umbrella is the emblem of this festival. Many signs like the one above are scattered all over the city.
